04.15.13"A quote about Spring by a famous poet"

It's the middle of April, and Spring is making its first cautious and belated appearance here in New York. All across the city, like the first trembling flower buds, jazz musicians are emerging from their squalid airless hovels, blinking and disoriented, to peer at the natural wonder of the changing seasons; only to sniff disdainfully, and head back inside to the glowing and reassuring comfort of their Facebook pages. It only happens once a year- if you're in town, make sure you catch it!
It's been a hectic Winter, and we're taking a quick Spring break, before launching into an even hectic-er Summer, full of new albums and invented words! I've just had some new photos taken for the upcoming website rejig (should happen sometime in June). Some people enjoy a photo shoot; personally I put them up there with wedding receptions and invasive backyard dental surgery. The pics look great!
Some tours are in their early planning stage- possibly New England, possibly DC, possibly West Coast. I'll keep you posted...
The Band's Facebook page is starting to pick up steam- that's where I'm posting photos, live tracks etc. If you're not part of the family already, head on over to Facebook , and click that "Like" button!
Podcast 15 is up online- this one features the charming Champian Fulton! It's 30 minutes of talk and music, and it's completely free! Click on the "Podcast" button over on the left of your screen...
And the Smithfield Sunday Session gig is going strong- that's me and Dan with Ken Foley and (often) Champian- every Sunday at Smithfield in Chelsea, NYC. There's a video of the band in action down the bottom of the page.
Lots of gigs coming up- check the shows page- and don't forget, you can pick up an album through iTunes or Amazon, on "The Business" page, or
HERE! , and have a natter with us on Facebook and Twitter! Cheers, Nick
